Stalking

Alice sat high in a tree, it was mid-day so there weren't many people out but she loved the forest. Her feet dangled over the ground that was about thirty feet below. "Hmm." She wanted someone to follow, someone to bother. "Where's everyone.." she asked herself, yawingin softly.

Her black hair was shorter, a spell having blown back in her face and burning her hair until she'd had to cut it. Her scar was bothering her a little bit but she'd ignored it and came down to the forest anyway. She'd just had hopes of not repeating what had happened last time, her falling from a tree and scuffling with the creatures. Her black coat had been swapped for a black tank top with bright red splatters across the chest the resembled blood.

Dev had just finished his Care of magical creatures class, after talking with the teacher for a while he walked back to the castle, but his eyes caught the Forbidden Forest and be blinked sightly, he had always been afraid of entering it alone, and he had never walked inside it as much as not to see the castle, but he decided to change his course now to the Forbidden Forest maybe in search of some creature in there, he would be careful not to get lust though.

Alice dropped to a lower branch and landed on her feet, swinging her arms to keep her balance as the branch quivered under her feet. She then jumped from the branch to the ground, landing on the balls of her feet. "Ouch," she muttered, as she walked toward the edge of the forest. She slipped out of the forest for a moment, taking a visual of if anyone was going to be in the forest today. "Ah," she whispered as she saw a blonde boy walking toward the forest. Alice slipped back into the forest and scaled a smaller tree, ploping down on the branch. "Company," she said in a sing-song voice.

As he entered he sensed something strange in the air, but he shrugged slightly, maybe he was just being paranoid.

As he moved inside the forest his hands rested on almost every tree he passed buy, he wanted to make sure if he tripped he could at least get a hold of the tree "This sure is scary" he told himself wondering if there was anyone...or anything in here

Alice gazed down on the boy who had entered. "Gryffindor," she whispered, climbing lower on the tree. "Dev," she said with a light snicker, her words were quick and soft. She scurried behind a tree with a smile.

This sure is scary.

"It's about to get worse," she thought with a giggle. "Hello-o-o," she called through the forest, her voice haunting and listened to it echo against the trees as if there were about twenty of her talking to the boy. "Ah, this will be fun," she thought to herself.

"WHOA!!!" he screamed and turned around as a voice echoed throughout the forest, thanks to the trees he could not make out where the voice was coming from, his heart began to beat as fast as a heart could making it hurt somewhat on his chest, he gulped looking around "H...hello?" he said holding his bag tightly to his shoulder

Alice burst out laughing, giving away her location and fell to her knees. "Oh my God," she said through giggles. She calmed herself down and sat on the ground, having fallen from behind the tree, her hiding place gone. Standing, she slid her hands down her jeans legs and brushed away the dirt that'd settled there when she'd fallen. "Anyway. Hello," she said with a sly smile, walking toward him. "Welcome to the Forest where I personally scare the crap out of everyone who decides to come in."

Dev turned quickly knowing where the voice had come from, after some giggles and laughs a girl came out of where she was hidden, Dev placed a hand on his chest and sighed in relief, it was only a girl, no monster or anything, he smiled as she came out "Thank you for the welcome" he said giggling softly "I didn't know people actually did come here" he added sticking out his tongue slightly

Alice smiled warmly. "No need for me to be any meaner than I need to be, right?" She watched the boy for a moment before going closer again until they were about a foot or two apart.

"Thanks for the welcome. I didn't know people actually came here."

She smiled again. "Yeah, you're welcome. Hope I didn't scare you too much." Her hands slid into her pockets as she swayed slightly on her feet as if listening to some unheard music. "Oh a lot of people come here. But I'm usually the one who stays here. It's a good place to think." She tilted her head slightly, hair falling over her shoulders. "Surely he hadn't fallen for her little trick.."

Dev smiled and placed both hands behind his back, then scratched the back of his head slightly "Well..you scared me a little bit" he admitted, he wasn't a lier and wasn't really afraid or ashamed of others knowing he was sad, angry, happy or scared, so for him it was quite normal to tell when he had any of this emotions, "I thought you were some kind of monster or something" he giggled then he looked around "Yeah, this place looks peaceful enough to think" he told her smiling sweetly
