Q: Can I be something other than a Student, Professor, Auror, or Death Eater?
A: Yes. Those are just the groups I figured we would get characters in. If you want to be a Bartender/Shopkeeper/etc., you can sign up as one and I'll create a new group for you.

Q: Why doesn't <place> have it's own forum?
A: Because I didn't find it necessary to make forums for every single location anyone could possibly want to RP in. For example, if you want to RP in a location in Hogwarts that doesn't have it's own forum, just post it under "Corridors". More forums may be added later on.

Q: I want to play a canon character, but we don't know very much about their hobbies/past/etc. What do I put on the character sheet?
A: Make stuff up. Just keep it plausible and try to stay as in-character as possible.

Q: Do canon characters have to be in canon pairings?
A: Not if the person playing the character doesn't want them to be.

Q: Why can't I post in certain boards?
A: I've limited the access on some boards so that students can't post in places where their character should not be. Posting is disabled in the classes that do not have teachers yet.

Q: What's up with the Galleons?
A: You are given five Galleons per post, and can spend them on things like custom titles or a sub-board for your character's home. Other things to buy may be added later.
If you were a member of the old forum, you can ask me to edit your amount of galleons to reflect your post count on the other board.
